The models are 0.5 LI each, but only when linked. If you link 2 together they will be 1 LI for both. Alone they still show up as 1 LI, sorry but that's Linden Labs doing not ours.
They hold up well at a distance (that's LOD) but how well depends on your settings.

Brilliant, these are beautiful
These look great and I spent a load of time spreading them around, changing them, taking them back and doing it again. I set them all to phantom, which I recommend to everyone. They looked good everywhere and I put them at the base of a tree and it worked. Well done.
