Fantastic Fantasy Cottage Babacha embedded in rocks 2 floors and a tower
It is always a great adventure to start from scratch and create a building, and I've been making cottages, houses and small castles for many years now. They are a labour of love, the texturing alone can take months before I can finally consider the building process finished.
Usually, as I am building, I seek to find a story, from life events, dream fantasies, or maybe exploration of a new location, that provides some clues about myself and what the building itself might convey. Sometimes it is just a word or a single thought that creates an adventure and sense of purpose around the finished work.
But this time was different. Not a dream, or a visit, or event prompted me to make this house apart from a need to create it. So I just built, and textured, and hoped some clue would reveal itself to me.
After much seeking, and thinking and hoping, a single word came to me - Babacha. It has no real meaning, it is just a word, but it was all that I needed to make this work complete.
Because this fantasy is yours, your dream, your story to tell.

brilliant
I had debated getting this cottage and others from this creator for a long time. What held me back was just cost. Many, many indecisive visits to the mainstore over many months later, and I decided to purchase this work of art. Mind my words that I refer to this as a work of art...this cottage is a work of art created by an artist. It is gorgeous! And shockingly very low land impact. I have kind of large avatars so I sized it up a good decent bit and even at a size where a 8ft tall biped or a BRDMRT griffin can fit fairly comfortably, it's only 70 land impact. It's not one of those things where you get it and it's only around 50Li but then you size it a smidge and it's 2x the impact....nope, this thing is surprisingly resistent to that. I decided to only use the Blinn version because PBR on SL doesn't always look right to me on my machine.
My only complaints about this piece are as follows:
It would have been preferred for me if the different foundation pieces were separate in a way where you could make the deck taller than 2 inches, for example. Due to the way the pieces are put together, it's just not super modifiable (but I am a builder and a notorious ripper-apart-er of things and most folk prolly won't be affected by this)
If the doors and windows were kool or otherwise scripted so that they could be configured to not auto-close, it would be cool to be able to leave my windows open. But I can fix that myself so not even worth removing a star :)
