*Note on L.I. (Land Impact): As with all mesh content, the L.I. will increase with size. Each size has optimized Land Impact and Levels of Detail (how the mesh deteriorates with distance) for the respective size. For tips on how using the different scale variants see Mod Notes. Large scale variants have accurate physics caps, and epic scales have accurate hollow root systems and accurate caps, for you to interact with your landscape.

INSTRUCTIONS:

The Moss Patches are activated through a click and hold pop-up menu to avoid accidental menu activations in active landscapes. A short click will NOT activate the menu. A click-and hold for approximately 2 seconds is necessary to activate it.

ALL: Takes you to the color selection submenu where you can choose from 10 moss color variations. Changes will affect moss and twinkles (when on) color.

Moss Color: Takes you to the moss color selection submenu, you can choose from 10 moss color variations

Twinkle Color: Takes you to the twinkle color selection submenu, you can choose from 10 twinkle color variations

Glow: On/Off button. When on the moss will have a twinkle texture animation.

Glow Mask: On/Off button. Will change the glow twinkle alpha effect to masking (lower lag*, crisper twinkles but less smooth animation), or blending (thicker twinkles, smoother animation though higher lag*)

Masking: On/Off Button. Will change the moss layers to Alpha Mask when on. This will result in sharper moss tuffs* When Off will switch the moss tuffs to alpha blending, resulting in a smoother fuzzier looking moss (though using many moss patches on alpha blending can cause local lag*)

ScriptDel: Will delete the Control, Changer and Sun Check scripts after confirmation. You will not be able to do further changes to any settings once scripts are deleted, unless you put a copy back of the scripts in the root prim. You also have the option of just deleting the Sun Check Script if you are not planning on using the automatic Day or Night options

Close: Will close the pop-up menu and set the script to sleep. The script will automatically go to sleep too after 2 minutes without receiving a command. Click again to reactivate.

*Note on Alpha Blending vs Alpha Masking- Alpha Blending settings in the moss will result in smoother, fuzzier looking moss, though it has two disadvantages, the moss might look weird or alpha fight at some angles and, when used in abundance, alpha blending might cause local lag.
On the other hand, Alpha Masking will result in sharper, less fuzzy moss, but it wont alpha fight and lowers the chance of local lag when used in abundance.
