This fireplace takes up only 4 prims and includes high and low flow flame settings. Just click on it and a menu appears with three choice (1) High, (2) Low and (3) Off. The high flame setting is shown in the first image, the low flame setting in the second image, and off is shown in third image. The menu is is visible in the last image.
Copy and modify permissions are provided so that you may adjust sizes to meet your specific requirements (only the script is no modify). If necessary, it can be modified to only 3 prims by removing the back plate. You may also modify the textures to match your home decor.
The flames are created by use of animated textures. Hence, even if an SL viewer has been set to not show particles for lag reduction, the flame is still visible. If prim space is critical, see related item which uses a particle effect to create the appearance of flames and thus has one less prim.
The fireplace is a nice addition for Linden Home owners, either as a main fireplace or a secondary fireplace.
