This is the exact same flashlight as my Black Flashlight except it has a different animation and is attached to your LEFT hand. The animation only affects your left arm and you hold it in the overhand 'police' style.
Animation overriders might stop the animation from running. Light is produced in front of flashlight by a series of invisible prims set to give off light. Make sure your lighting detail is set to 'nearby local lights'. It also depends on how your video card handles these local lights.
Full Modify and Copy! No transfer! Same cheap price as the original!
Great lite

Still going...
I bought this flashlight five years ago and took it out tonight thinking I might pull the animation and script out of it and put them into a new flashlight, but honestly.. after re-texturing the body, un-linking the "light effect" cone (and the odd little string of invisible lights which worked great in 2006 or whenever this was made) and replacing all of that with projected lighting... this old flashlight is looking pretty current. Yeah, it's made with prims and not mesh, but with the new texture and texture-based shine.. heck, I'll keep using it.
If you know how to edit, I would definitely still recommend this, five years on. There's a mesh one that's very similar in design and price and honestly, it doesn't look as good as this...and doesn't have the animation.
You would think something like this would be easier to find!
A mod flashlight with animations! sheesh!
Its simple and works!
I bought this while looking for an operating flashlight. It looks alright but the light cone looks cheesy. Also, since I have paws not hands, when I wear this it replaces the paw and I have to remember to place it on the wrist or elbow and mess around with it. Basically, its not furry friendly. Not worth it if you got paws.
very nice animation with it, looks cool while aiming gun with right hand...just what i wanted!
Great light, great animation! How about a hold animation for use with a drawn handgun? You know, where the wrists are crossed, and the flashlight and gun are right next to eachother? Thanks!
