ABOUT THE GPS
The GPS is an "invisible" attachment that uses floating text to show you how fast you're moving, what direction you're headed, and what region you're in. No SL Viewer shows you how fast you're moving, and with the GPS you wont have to open a Map every time you want to see what direction you're heading. Explorers, drivers, boaters and pilots all find this gadget very useful.
HOW TO USE IT
Choose the way you prefer to see your speed (KM/H or MPH) and attach that version to your vehicle or avatar wherever you want it. Both versions are included in the box. To see exactly where the GPS prim is, press Ctrl-Alt-T on your keyboard; this will show you all the transparent prims nearby. You can then position the prim anywhere you want using Edit Mode.
The GPS can be On or Off. To hide it, say "GPS OFF" in Local Chat or say "GPS ON" (without the quotes) to see it again.
10 COLOR CHOICES
The text color choices are White, Red, Aqua, Teal, Green, Lime, Yellow, Gray, Silver, and Black. "Say" the color you want in Local Chat and the text color will change — just be sure to capitalize the first letter of the color. You may never want to change the color again, but the choices are always available.
EASY TO USE
Once you have decided where you want it, and chosen a text color, you won't have to do anything else! The GPS will remember your choices. It has Copy permissions, so you can leave one permanently attached to any (or all) of your vehicles. If you attach it to your avatar, you can just click "wear" or "add" like any other accessory.
