Ough. Hrrk. Agh. Hrrk. Geh. You've been poisoned and are taking 37 HP of damage per turn, but it's okay, this is just a particle effect and won't actually harm you or make you grunt in agony.
Retro JRPG (Japanese computer role playing game) style status effect particles, creating a swirly cloud of poison bubbles or other malediction sprites that go *pop* when they disappear. 9 particle styles: 4 types of poison bubbles, a poison/curse skull, a confusion question mark, a sleepy Zz, a blinded eye and a charmed bubble heart. HUD controlled for style, tint and spawn rate, can also be scaled with the build tool for smaller/larger sizes.
Note: dark colors are not available as the particle rendering style would make them invisible. Bright colors only, sorry!
Note 2: the effect has been designed with a PBR capable viewer. It will work fine on older viewers, but may not look exactly as depicted due to transparency handling changes.
See item in Second Life- JRPG style status effect particles
- Poison, curse, charm, blindness, get messed up in various ways
- HUD for quick configuration
- Tintable and scalable for variety
Really good JRPG-style status
I'm simply playing playing with the HUD to see how it works.
Can you move forward with the Pokémon-style status condition?
