This full perm mesh compass is 0.5LI and includes a full perm compass script. This compass can be worn as a HUD or quickly linked to a vehicle which faces in any direction.
This instrument body could also be used for any analog instrument requiring up to 2 faces like a speedometer, tachometer, simple altimeter, fuel gauge, or similar. It has 5 total faces, two of which are for the background of the instrument and the needle/overlay.
The full perm compass script (it's modifiable) can either reside in the compass prim itself, or in the root of your vehicle and it will work.
Included are textures for a white and black compasses. The white compass can be tinted to any color as well.

Needles (generic overlay)
TERMS OF USE:
You may use this Mesh Compass and the compass script in your creations but may not transfer it to any other avatar with Copy AND Transfer permissions set, you must set one OR the other.
You MUST NOT distribute the compass script to any other avatar with MODIFY YES permissions.

I searched high and low for a compass that does exactly what this one does. I needed it to show the 8 basic directional points and the 360 degrees of direction on the same compass. I needed the letters and the numbers to be easily readable at a glance. This compass does that. It also operates very smoothly, turning fluidly as heading changes. It's also full perm, so there are multiple options for how the compass looks. When I committed an operator error in customizing the look, I reached out to Christi. She got back to me fast and was very helpful in troubleshooting the problem and resolving it. Thank you!
