when i got this item i was hoping I'd have a Decent Mark 5 helmet to add to my collection of helmet choices for my Spartan avatar however i was overly disappointed with how the helmet looks and the crucial fact that is missing key parts that make it a mark 5 helmet the back part is meant to be black none the Less i did manage to find modding purposes form the Mk 5 shoulder pads included with the helms and made use of them so overall not a bad product if your looking to add a lil classic flair to your shoulders

Nice mesh, poor textures.

This armor add on, as well as the armor to which it belongs, is a magnificent piece of mesh armor, made as close to perfect as SL will allow, save for one issue. Textures cannot be applied to this armor in the same manner as the MK VI variant. The armor can be colored and edited in great detail, but the textures will remain flat color regardless of applied texture. Even so, the armor is of such quality that this minor oversight is somewhat easy to ignore, though a texturable version would be even better. That said, the armor still looks fantastic and can easily be worn as is.
