All of our pieces are inspired by paintings, illustrations and fashion plates of the period portrayed.
This particular piece is an open robe à l'anglaise in blue striped taffeta with a skirt in champagne colour taffeta. It includes a short lace shawl and a little textile rose to pin on your chest. Inspired by th epainting "Self portrait with a Harp" by rose Adelaide Ducreaux portraying the fashion of 1780.

This is a lovely dress, and the inworld store offers the hat that goes with it for free, as well as a couple of others. The seller was very kind to send me one when I wrote and asked her where the hat was. Very nice period clothes.

This is a dress of wonderful quality with a very, very fine hat. I was the belle of the event I bought it for!
