[GG] Ganymede Missile Launcher Version 1.6

1. Introduction

An original design, the Ganymede Missile Launcher is a multi-projectile, customizable weapon to satisfy your need for explosions! Geckonaut Gadgets weapons are not meant to be hyper-realistic, and are instead designed with more of a sci-fi, comicbook, and even video game feel to them. They are designed to be fun to fire and easy to mod. They are not designed to excel at capturing or pushing avatars.

I hope you have as much fun using this weapon as I did making it!

2. Version History

v1.6
* Added 15 second auto-check for lost mouselook controls.
* Added "smart projectile" logic, default projectiles detonate/self-destruct when entering no-object land.
* Default projectiles will not longer detonate if you attach them to your avatar directly. I'm not sure why you'd want to do this, though.
* Brand name change to Geckonaut Gadgets!

* Fixed a bug with the permissions that was causing the Ganymede to become "No-Copy" if it was rezzed on the ground and picked back up.

3. Features

There is a fair amount of scripting in the Ganymede Missile Launcher! Included features are:

* DESIGNED TO BE MODABLE
This weapons was designed to be modable, including the ability to add your own sounds and projectiles, and to modify (at least to some extent) the included projectiles. Mod permission is, of course, granted.

* Fully Scripted
Shoot missiles, cupcakes, and whatever you want all over!

* Multiple Projectiles
This weapon comes with four included projectiles. Included is:

I. The standard missile, it is titled "Missile" in the menu, and explodes big and boomy!
II. The lightning-enchanted missile. It is titled "ElecMissile" in the menu, and it has been enchanted with lightning magic in an unholy fusion of magic and technology. It explodes into a vibrant swirl of smoke and electricity!
III. The Shield Generating Pod. It is titled "Shield" in the menu. When it impacts another object, or the ground, it turns 180 degrees and then spawns a temporary, spherical shield! If the shield pod impacts an avatar, it moves to the avatar's feet and traps them in a shield!
IV. The Cupcake. It is titled "Cupcake" in the menu. When it impacts anything, it splats with an appropriate sound effect. Rumor has it that there is a 1 in 16 chance of getting a special splat sound when the cupcake splats...

* Customizable Projectiles
This weapon is set up to allow you to add additional projectiles, or customize the existing projectiles.

* Burst Fire Mode
Lets you fire four projectiles in rapid succession!

* Sound Effects
This weapons has a few sound effects, in addition to the sound effects in the projectiles.

I. There is a sound effect when a projectile is launched, as explained in the previous section.
II. There is a sound effect when you switch projectile types.
III. There is a sound effect, after you fire, when your launcher reloads.

* Gestures
This weapon comes with three optional gestures. These gestures make the weapon more convenient and easy to use.

* Special Effects
Backblast and smoke particle effects when firing!
As mentioned previously, various sound effects!

* Cupcake
The cupcake splats when it hits something!

* Smart Projectiles
The included projectiles self destruct when travelling into no-object land.

* Mouselook/Animation Control Checks
The weapon auto-checks for lost mouselook controls and holding animation every 15 seconds.

4. Updates

Product updates are now handled through the CasperVend system. This means the weapon no longer checks for a new version whenever you equip it. Any and all new versions of this product that are released will be offered to customers who bought previous versions, free of charge.
