The Garda Tristar is the accurate replica of a real life luxury craft, the fabled Riva Ariston, created in 1950 by Carlo Riva, owner and designer of the famous Riva Crafts based in Northern Italy. The Tristar is a full mesh (originally made) boat, with a sport streak under its polished mahogany hull and its shiny chrome and leather interiors.
The scripting department has been tested and optimized in order to offer the smoothest possible sim crossing and the easiest handling of the boat at slow or full speed. Engine noises are of the real craft, recorded on site (the builder is italian and resides not far from a marina hosting several Rivas).
The boat is customizable: flag can be changed, as well as the name on the transom (provided a full perms template). The hull, interiors, and fenders can be also painted in 3 pre-loaded themes, mixed and matched to a total of almost 90 combinations.
All this is united to a low land impact of only 30.
And it stays at 30 LI also under power.
A mayday broadcast system calling SLCG has been added!
The boat is provided with a wooden cradle and with a trailer, both mesh as well.
The boat features a custom made rocking motion when the boat is moored, a working cover, and a switchable matress for suntanning. The engine hatch and the fenders work on chat commands, too.

Fantastic boat, I love it and can't get enough driving it ! It's smooth and fast....boy, is it fast :D but, I can also cruise along at a very slow speed or anywhere in between which is great around the Linden houseboats. Texturing is very easy too. I am so happy I purchased this boat !
Garda Tristar, the time Machine
As a child I had the chance to get on a Riva Ariston motorboat and I still remember the roar of the mighty V8 and the sense of sure power that emanated this iconic boat.
After almost 50 years, on SL even I own, thanks to the undisputed expertise and great kindness for the customer by PierG Cukor, a speedboat that revives that memories .... An enveloping sound, the surpassing without hesitation of sim borders at over 38 knots and the timeless charm of the truthful mahogany textures.

It looks really fine with good LOD and elegant paint options. It's also very fun to use with great sounds, handling and sim cross.
I tried several similar boats from well known brands and this one is better by far.

What a beautiful boat use it for racing, cruising or just posing. Also great personal service from the designer when I had a problem .He TP'd over to help solve it personally . Easily solved by switching off my AO.I will be back for more boats from this designer.
