An English side table in carved and gilded wood designed by Matthias Lock in the mid-18th century.

With a yellow sienna marble plaque, the belt completed with vitruvian scrolls, the sides and front decorated with floral garlands and rocaille mottifs and supported by imposing cabriole legs terminating in hairy paws.

Mid 18th century.

Encore une table grandiose par sa conception et son réalisme. Merci.

This side table has the most beautiful carving details and the golden materials on it really give it a highly 3D and realistic look. The shell carving detail on the front of this table really is pretty, and as your eyes see the intricately carved floral swags it hangs from, it really just takes your breath away. It looks especially stunning with the C&G George III Rococo Mirror hanging above it!
