No mod green cylinders attached to ladder as climbers itself, which cant hide? For reals?

This page says there are 5 reviews, but I only see one. I am curious why the other 4 are not visible, because I purchased the first version of this ladder, and despite all the reviews claiming how wonderful and easy it is to set up, it is not. I've spent an hour on it already trying to get it to work following the instructions to the detail with no luck. Then I found THIS item by the same seller claiming it is easier to set up. It seems exactly the same to me, and still doesn't work when I follow the instructions. I can climb up it once, then down, then the "up" animation stops working. The "down" seems to be ok. This happens rezzing it right out of the box without me making any adjustments or moving it. This is far too complicated when there are easier items on the market. I wasted my money on two purchases from this seller. If this is more complicated to set up than the instructions indicate, as the other visible comment suggests, the seller needs to provide better instructions.
Very nice
The ladder looks nice and works well. It took a little bit of figuring out how to set it up, but it wasn't difficult. The only change I would suggest is to make the cylinders phantom to smooth the transitions off of the ladder (they are no-mod so I can't do that myself). But definitely a good item, especially for L$99.
