Beautiful console made by a Parisian ébéniste (cabinet-maker) Martin Carlin in 1781. These two consoles were confiscated in 1794 from the Marquise de Brunoy, in her mansion on the avenue des Champs-Élysées. They were placed in the Petit Trianon dining room at the request of King Louis-Philippe, marking a first attempt to refurbish the château in the spirit of the 18th century.
