The horned headdress shape-shifted its way through the 15th century, marking the transition from cylindrical reticulated cauls at the sides of the head to the single tall horn known as the hennin. The escoffion, sometimes referred to as a heart-shaped headdress, featured high horns covered in metal mesh and surmounted by both a padded roll and a veil.
This reproduction comes in rigged & unrigged versions, both of which offer 8 color choices plus tinting in 5 areas, as well as 3 metal & pearl tones. Both PBR and legacy materials are included.
