HANGAR Loft
Not ecologic - its a part of the ecosystem...
The sleek, minimal design has been inspired by hangar buildings for military aircraft - but it can be used for civilian purposes very well. The spacious single room building makes a great loft for environmental friendly living, a stylish atelier that blends hamonically into the environment or an office that offers a relaxing break at the pond on the roof.
It represents an utopian lifestyle but can also used in contemporary themed places or even natural environments. Why not build a garden all over your house?.
Some surfaces like the windows or the inner floor have specular and normal maps applied, which requires advanced lighting model activated to see. All textures besides the roofs are hand shaded or got ambient occlusion baked on. The roof is just a terrain texture to blend well with your sim terrain textures.
The scripted core has been coded for flexibility and individuality, but also friendlyness and will be glad to confirm the current system status with a robotic female voice. Of course you may deactivate the voice effects if you prefer quiet environments.
HANGAR has a whitelist privacy system which allows different access levels. Persons on the whitelist can enter the house anytime and use the controller to manage the house.
The doors can be locked to anyone except the owner, open for the same group the structure is set to or open for everyone, which makes the HANGAR great to rent out or to share with a partner. The windows can be tinted on the outer side for some privacy.
When it comes to customization, you may choose between 5 different floor designs, 5 different roof textures or even apply your own custom texture to the roof. The lighting system and the accent color stripe around the windows can be fine tuned with a 65k color picker system to make your HANGAR loft as individual as you are!
The smart color picker panel is "temp rezzed" and will not count against your land prim count.
It causes minimal lag as long as it is active, but deleting it shuts the system into an idle mode without active listeners and minimal SIM resource usage. The panel deletes itself after 60 seconds.
This applies to almost all scripted functions - no listener or timer remains active longer than necessary to avoid lag.
Every script works as efficient as possible and unnecessary scripts have been removed wherever possible.
HANGAR is a home that blends into environment and is good for the environment.

NOTES:
This structure is modifyable for your convenience and for decoration purposes. The scripts are set to no mod, no trans and can cause the house look like if it was no mod in your inventory. As soon as you rez the structure you will be able to modify.
Never unlink any parts or link something to the structure! You will break the scripted core.
This structure features materials (specular and normal maps) on some surfaces.
You need to enable "advanced lighting model" (ALM) on your viewer preferences to see the effect.
TIP: enable ALM and deactivate shadows to have a better framerate on older computers.

Unique build with a lot of versatility
I had been eyeing this up for a while and took a chance on buying it. On rez it's modify (a huge bonus), retexturable, tintable, and has some neat features. It's a unique build that works in a variety of build settings. The LI doesn't change much on resize either. The only drawback to this item is the price which was part of my original apprehension in purchasing this. Unfortunately after some playtesting I'd still say it seems quite high given how simplistic the build and features are. I had thought there would be more to it I guess? I am not entirely unhappy with my purchase and will likely find a use for it, but I probably wouldn't be likely to recommend it at the current pricepoint. I think it could be greatly improved upon if there were more rezzables and texture options.
I'd like to see a Hangar Loft 2.0 (maybe larger with a lofted space?) or more abstract builds from this creator as I feel they have a very good sense of aesthetics & architectural design!

Clean, elegant design. Low LI. Texture change and customisation options with also the option to add own textures so it can sit seamlessly on whatever land texture you have. Perfect for any scifi setting or simply as a small, stylish modern home.
