Why you need this script? Have you tried switching the full bright of a hairpiece off or on and fail to get all strands of the hair to stick to the state you want it to be? Yes, using the full bright checkbox in the texture menu is not the right way to switch this parameter for every piece of a linkset that has many many parts, as a hair usually has.

Using this script, the switch is instantaneous and effective on every prim. You just need to have modify permissions for the hair you want to switch its full bright so you can paste a copy of this script into its content tab and then just click on the hair to switch full bright on or off, alternatively. When you are done, you can delete the script from the hair if you think you won't need it later.

This script only responds to you, that is owner of the hair, so you can leave the script on the hair ready for when you want to switch brightness back and no one around can change your hair full bright but you.
