Here's a SMALL, SIMPLE and inexpensive HUD you can use to reposition your avatar. We thought that spending hundreds with other brands was crazy for such a simple device, so we made our own. Over 500 sold and we've never had a complaint!
Use it when...
* You want to precisely adjust poses.
* You want to shift where you are standing in a crowd, or at a dance place, without crashing into people next to you.
* You want to move yourself to dance right next to your friend who is on your dance HUD.
* You are using a hugger and need to move yourself sideways so that the hug lines up.
Believe us, there are tons of uses. Once you have one of these, you'll wonder how you survived without one!
Click the black number button to toggle the step distance between four values -- 0.1m, 0.2m, 0.3m, and 0.5m. We kept it simple! No wonky dialog menus to deal with, either, like you might see in some similar products. You'll probably be changing the distance a lot. Click click done!
Then click the blue arrows to move your avatar forward back left or right by that distance. You can click the buttons multiple times if you like to move farther. Or you can also just hold the button down to keep moving at that speed -- another feature that a similar product might not do for you.
That's it!
It's modify so you can
* Change the HUD size if you like by stretching it
* Change the button colors using edit-linked if you don't like blue
* Drag the button configuration using edit-linked to your satisfaction. Each button is a separate editable object linked to the rest so they can be repositioned.
We include TWO VERSIONS in the folder -- "Step Hud (v)" has the buttons going vertically. "Step Hud (h)" has the bottoms going horizontally. Use whichever one fits better on the corner of your screen. In fact, the reason why there are only four direction buttons, and not 8 like other brands, is that all those directions would make the hud wider and harder to fit in an unused corner of your screen (unless it was made to be microscopic size). With our product, there's no need to maximize or minimize the hud to use it, just click and you're done!

Works Well!
It works great for me. I use the 0.5 speed for adjusting myself on the dance floor and the 0.2 speed for lining up most hugs. I click the direction buttons multiple times to move, for precision, but it's nice you can just hold the button down if you want to move a long distance. I like that they give you a version of this that fits flat at the bottom of your screen (where I keep my camera controls as well). I've told a few friends about it too.
A game changer!
After all my years in SL, I could still could not fine-tune my lining up with other people. Someone told me about this HUD and it is incredibly useful! It is worth a try - you won't be disappointed!

So easy to use. Small on the screen. comes Unboxed so you can use it right away. Makes lining up easier when dancing, or anything else. the price is WORTH IT! Yes, I'm yelling. :D
