No one knows what caused the mysterious explosion at the Academy for Research and Scientific Exploration. Half a dozen fire crews were called to put out the resulting blaze. The police suspected arson, but no charges were ever brought. No one died, but for the 48 students who were working there that day, life changed forever.
Eric Elgar and Emma Earnshaw were setting up an experiment in elasticity. Their bodies were impregnated with millions of particles of rubber, turning them into Epsilon, with the power to stretch themselves in any direction.
The costume comes with a HUD to control the stretch. Just click the area of the body you'd like to stretch - head, torso, left arm, right arm or legs. You can also make all parts stretch at once, and a single click will make you revert to normal.
Note that the distortions are achieved by inbuilt animations. There is sometimes some lag between what you see, and what others see, particularly on Revert. You may see yourself return to normal, whilst your friends will still see you stretched. For best results, once you use Revert, press it again.
If for any reason Revert fails to return you to normal, logging out of Second Life and back in will always fix your avatar.
The Stretch prim also contains a simple AO, which is activated automatically when you stretch your legs. You will need to turn off your own AO to allow this to work. If you don't, your body will remain at your normal height, and your stretched legs will disappear into the ground. The AO controls your stand, walk, turn, run and jump only.
This costume is part of a brand new and unique series, the New 24 Alphabet Heroes, created exclusively by Heroes Clobber to celebrate 10,000 costume sales.
