Crypt of Doom - a scene for the Exosphere Holodeck .

Dare you enter the Crypt of Doom? The Dark Lord of the Oblivion is waiting for you, so take care what you touch or you may never leave! Perfect RP for Halloween, too.

This is an Exosphere Holodeck Scene and needs to be installed in the Exosphere Holodeck.

Features include:
- Spooky graveyard
- The Crypt of Doom
- The Altar of the Damned
- Summon the Beast by touching the altar
- The Beast manifests packs of flaming fireballs
- Built-in poses around the pentacle and altar
- Lighting and flame effects
- Particle and mist effects

You have stumbled across an old abandoned graveyard while lost in a dark wood. You pick your way over the smashed headstones and overgrown shrubs, looking for shelter for the night. Nearby, you glimpse a huge stone crypt and decide to check it out. You push the doors and they swing open.

Once inside, you are horrified to see broken bones and skulls scattered across the floor. The walls are covered with blasphemous images. At the back of the crypt there is a pulsing red pentagram drawn on the floor. As you get closer, some strange urge tempts you to reach out and touch the cursed altar. Suddenly, the Beast appears before your eyes, surrounded by smoke and flames. You're forced to your knees as the creature towers over you...

Hint 1: Don't zoom directly in on the Beast's eye for a closer look, or the eye will OPEN and stare at you. Trust me on this - it's seriously creepy.

Hint 2: The Beast can release a pack of sentient fireballs which will attempt to cut you off from the exit and corner you in the Crypt. An experienced explorer will leave the doors open on the way in.

Hint 3: The Beast will disappear back into the void if he doesn't claim your soul in about 60 seconds. Touch the altar to summon him again, but expect more fireballs to come your way...

Hint 4: Everything gets cleared away when you CLEAR the scene using the Holo-deck menu.

Take your Role Play to the next level with this scary scene. But don't say we didn't warn you.

This Holo-deck scene is best experienced with your viewer set to midnight.

A devilish good role-playing scene fro the holodeck, excellently produced as usual

Favorite so far

Of all the holo-deck scenes that have come out so far, this is my favorite.

Pros:
- The lighting and texturing are immersive.
- The "optional" demon generated by the scene that adds fire and extra lighting adds a nice touch. I'll be using this one a lot I believe.
- Modifiable as always.
- A door in the scene to walk in and out of the holo-deck (I dislike walking through the illusion wall like in some scenes).
- Adds only 48 prims to the sim when rezed (a big deal for me since my Homestead is sometimes near full)

Cons:
- In this case, none really, it's pretty much what I hope for when I buy one of the holodeck scenes.

Wish:
- Some temp rezed ghosts when you click on some of the gravestones would be nice, but that just me being picky. :)
