This is a beautiful hat. The texture map is a little difficult to use; however...doable. You will need a little photoshop/gimp experience to create your own textures ;-D
Quite good for the price
First of all, the ad doesn't make clear that this is a MESH product, so that's a good thing. It's a well-made object, good lines, good detail. Downsides are that the UV map is a bit of a nightmare, but workable if you experiment a bit. Also, it's got a Land Impact of 8. Eight! Zowie! So, not awful if you are going to wear it, bad if you want it as a decoration around the house. In the end, it's $L29! A better $L29 top hat you are not likely to find. Also note: The hat rezzes as the actual final product, not in a separate box. The textures you need are inside the hat when you rez it.
If you are creative you will love this hat
I'm not sure what other people expect for 29 but I was quite happy with this hat when I bought it. Creative people know what to do to make an item their own. See my pappa doc/witch Dr hat that I made out of this item. I also made a mardi gras hat and textured the hat using a grid map. Not a bad deal for the price
Not what it should be
There are NOT UVTEXTURES, so you cannot build your own hat. You can only modify the model.
If i buy a "full perm" item, I expect to be able to rebuild it as if I were creator.
