Built specifically for The Mesh Shop's I-Mocca 60, the Vendée Globe-class foiling racing yacht. This HUD does the unglamorous trimming work so you can focus on the thrill of speed - or just enjoy a hard reach without ending up in the water.

WHAT IT DOES

The I-Mocca 60 is a real handful. She foils above 10 knots, the apparent wind shifts forward as you accelerate, and a moment's inattention with the Code 0 up can lay her over. This HUD takes over the second-by-second trimming and watches the heel angle while you steer.

KEY FEATURES

▸ Auto-foiling. The foil deploys when you cross 10 knots and retracts when you slow below 7. No buttons to remember in the heat of a tack.

▸ Heel safety bear-away. If heel exceeds 25° while sailing, the HUD eases the wind 5° deeper to relieve the rig. Five-second cooldown, 175° ceiling - gentle, not panicky.

▸ Sail-aware wind angles. Each head sail (Jib, Code 0, Spinnaker) has its own sweet-spot wind angle, calibrated separately for each of the four sailing wind speeds. Raise a sail and the wind arc snaps to the right angle automatically.

▸ Three-way head-sail interlock. Jib, Code 0, and Spinnaker are mutually exclusive. Raise one and the others drop. The HUD handles the timing so the new sail comes up cleanly after the old one is down.

▸ Relative wind lock. Set the wind angle relative to your bow once, and the HUD keeps it there as you turn. Your sails stay full no matter which way you point. The world wind direction is recomputed every 1° of heading drift.

▸ Full live telemetry. Speed, heading, heel, pitch (important when foiling), wind angle, and autopilot state, updated once per second. Pitch helps you spot bow lift before it costs you speed.

▸ Top-down docking camera. Short-press Track for an overhead near-plan view of your boat - much easier than guessing your hull's position relative to a pier from the chase camera.

▸ Fully automatic autopilot. Engages when the first sail goes up, releases when the last comes down. No manual button to forget.

▸ Spinnaker broach safety. If you drag the wind angle below 120° while the kite is up, the HUD drops the kite for you. The I-Mocca buries the bow at angles tighter than that.

▸ Long-press resync. Any sail or engine button can be long-pressed to flip the HUD's local state without sending anything to the boat. Useful if you ever toggle a sail from the chat menu and want the button colour to match reality.

▸ Slide-to-hide HUD. When you want a clean view of the water, tap Show/Hide. The HUD slides off-screen but stays one tap away.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX

▸ I-Mocca 60 HUD Guide - full notecard with quick start, button reference, and troubleshooting

NOT FOR RACING

Organised SL races use enforced event wind set by race buoys, which override personal wind HUDs. This HUD is for private sailing - solo offshore tours, full-tilt blasts across the Blake Sea, and single-handing for the joy of it.
