Instant One-Prim Forest

Instant forest! One prim. Owner Click on/off. Script modify!

Contains 4 types of flexible prim trees. You can add your own trees as long as you have rights to them. (Sorry, Linden trees don't work) YOU MUST MAKE YOUR CUSTOM TREES "Temp On Rez"

Adjustable in script, the range of the forest is about 10m. Rezzes "temp on rez" trees. Automatically adjusts for ground level, so can be used on tilted ground with ease! It rotates the tree randomly so your trees don't look quite so "square" and perfectly aligned.

The maximum temporary prims allowed are based on the regular prim limit, as (regular_prim_limit - current_regular_prims) + minimum(0.5 * regular_prim_limit + 400, 1000)

The rate of the tree rezzing can be changed in script as well.
This is designed to work ON THE GROUND! It will not work in skyboxes! (added to "to be done on next update" list)

The New Version is out. This version will not be updated, but has been left in play because of it's popularity.

If you purchased it before Dec 1, 2007 you were sent a copy but for some reason, even though I show the gift purchase as going through, many customers never received the update. Please contact support below, give them the URL to this product, the SLX sales number and date of purchase. I give permission for SLX staff to issue you a new version of Version 2 if you qualify.

There is no upgrade path left so you would be better purchasing the newer version.

If you are getting temp on rez warnings it is because the lindens keep fiddling. Some of them are from temp on rezzers but they also from vehicles. This latest SL update is borked. Welcome to an expanding universe :) Fixes to follow...

Some of the forests can be restored by restarting them. Which on THIS version is a pain. (update coming soon) I also would like you to make a change in script and know why I want you to make it. (nother thing to add in update)

Try to select the prim, if you get a tree, just hit delete... repeat.. You will eventually get the forest prim. click it to shut it off.

This step optional but important. Open the script inside. Look for llSetTimerEvent(). Change the number inside the () to something higher. The higher the number the LESS OFTEN the tree will rez.

Click Again to restart.

There is an upper level limit to how many prim a SIM can handle. Generally this isn't a problem. If you abuse this product, you could have trouble with your landlord. On most mainland sims there is plenty of Linden prim available, but on some estate sims where primcounts are paramount and the landlord is zealous. You use this at your own risk.
