About the "Itto-can"
--------------------------------
"Itto-can" is a metal container widely used in Japan.
It holds approximately 18.0 liters, which is about 5 U.S. gallons.
The typical shape is a rectangular can.
In the late 19th century, it was imported into Japan from overseas as a container for transporting petroleum and was called a "petroleum can" at that time.
Because its capacity was close to the traditional Japanese unit of volume called "itto" (about 18.039 liters), the name "Itto-can" became common.
The current official name, as defined by Japanese industrial standards, is "18-liter can," but the term "Itto-can" is still widely used today.
This product is created as a decorative object for use in Second Life.
It cannot hold or store any items inside.
Feel free to use it for decorating or enhancing the atmosphere of your virtual space.
