Japanese Tensha Beads are handmade beads created by applying a beautifully detailed transfer pattern to an acrylic sphere. The bead is then coated with a clear hard coating and (sometimes) decorated with gold accents. Each bead is made by hand, and beads of this sort are popular with jewelrymakers throughout the world.
Included in this set are 8 textures that are 512 x 512 and seamless. I made them using photos of actual tensha beads (with shadows and reflections included so they look photorealistic.) They're perfect for making any flat-backed prim or round/cylindrical gemstone.
I've also included sets of pretextured beads and gemstones. (8 flat backed round gems and 8 pretextured spherical beads.) These are full perm and can be used in any project. I've also ALSO included non-full perm pretextured sculpted beads (along with a notecard telling you where you can buy the full perm versions of these sculpts.)

These worked like a charm on mesh AO maps and would make easy prim gems as well I'm sure! I adore the mesh jewelry I've made with these... so AWESOME! ll there textures look amaeing and at a price you simply can't beat! Love these soooo much!!!

These textures look amazing! With a little fiddling you can wrap them around just about any organic shape. The details are absolutely beautiful, and with full perms whatever you make with them can be given out, these were perfect for the hunt items i made.
