K-9 is Dr Who's robot-dog companion. He has been modified & scripted according to the the Terms & Conditions from Mickey Kling's unscripted K9 Robot available at:

* K-9 will obey & acknowledge standard single word commands like any other well-trained dog, such as: come, follow, stay, down, heel. These can be given either verbally in chat or via a menu.
* He will also socialise on request and even greet people in their user-interface language if recognised.
* He has a vocabulary of familiar phrases, such as 'affirmative', 'most satisfactory', which he can say in authentic audio as well as chat, and which are available from the menu.
* As his owner, you can also provide him with responses on your own non-public channel, which can even be transliterated into Old High Gallifreyan!
* When left on his own, K-9 will relay to you in IM any chat line which contains his name.

K-9 is equipped with:
+ chat or menu control
+ a flashing visor to accompany his speech
+ a laser blaster which can fire at any vertical angle
+ a webpage 'hologram' projector
+ a force-field shield generator
+ a data probe which can be extended & retracted by owner click-control
+ a side panel which opens to provide inventory (e.g. biscuits, coffee, tea)

As the owner, you have the privilege of being able to sit on K-9 and ride (vehicle controls).

K-9 will prove to be an intelligent, faithful & loyal friend and is highly recommended.

K-9's body has modify & copy permissions, and script have copy permission to allow object modifications to be saved with copy permission.
