ATTACHMENT TYPE
You can attach the Hud in any hud attachment point, but we suggest in the Top Left (default position). You can move the Hud position on the screen, in the place you prefere.

FUNCTIONS
===== 1 - DOOR ROLEPLAY
By clicking the three buttons at the right of the door icon (little buttons with the arrows), you can rez 3 types of doors: horizontal, vertical up, vertical down. The doors are rezzed in the selected direction, and you can use this "RP door" to cross the doors opened in roleplay.
After the doors are rezzed, they show the name of the owner and the time. Clic on the "RP door" to pass through the closed door.
To delete the doors, right clic on it, select "Close" and then "Yes" in the menu.
This "RP doors" works in two directions (go and return). You can also move them on the ground: it calculates the new position and rotation.
You can also use the chat commands:
/1 door - rez the horizontal door
/1 doorup - door up
/1 doordown - door down

=====2 - BEAST CLAWS
Enable the fighting combat with the claws. The fist icon becomes green when you are ready to combat (in or out the mouselook).
You can draw and sheath the beast claws by clicking the icon in the hud or by chat command:
/1 claws on
/1 claws off

The parameters of the claws are:
Delay: 0.55 sec.
Range: 2.50 m.
Damage: 15% (40% in sim with stronger melee enabled)

ANIMATIONS
You have 8 realistic animations and realistic sounds. The animations are made for kurii combat, so, if you use a different beast, you can disable them to avoid strange displacement of your avatar.
The chat command are:
/1 hud animon
/1 hud animoff

SOUND SET
Sound set on/off: when you mount the Beast Hud for the first time, a menu appears asking you to select if enable or disable the sounds. You can modify this selection by chat:
/1 hud soundon
/1 hud soundoff

STYLE
Select the fighting style: Normal or WASD (for CCS/DCS compatibility).
To fight in WASD style hold the left clic of the mouse and use the arrow keys to hit. To use the W-A-S-D keys, close the Local Chat Bar, by clicking the "Esc" key.
W/S control forward and backward and A/D control strafing left and right.
Chat commands:
/1 normal claws - use normal combat style using the left clic of the mouse (default setting)
/1 wasd claws - enable the WASD/ARROW fighting mode

All the commands are also available from menu (clic on "LR" logo to show the menu).
When you make hit, the target reads in chat "Beast Claws LR Weapons 3.13 (only beast allowed)".

=====3 - GRAPPLE
By clicking the three buttons 10, 14, 20 at the right of the grapple icon, you can rez 3 types of grapples.
You can also use the chat commands:
/1 grapple10 - rez the grapple 10 meters
/1 grapple14 - grapple 14 meters
/1 grapple20 - grapple 20 meters

At the left of the grapple button ther's the "ladder" icon.
By clicking it rezs a physic ladder that falls in front of you, so you can pass rivers or any hole in the ground.
You can also use the chat command:
/1 ladder

=====4 - DIRECT SELECTION FOR NORMAL/LONG/DROP ARROW and MELEE/THROW MODE (LR WEAPONS CONTROL)
When you mount the bow or the crossbow, you can select the arrow range directly with this button.
You can disable the drop arrow in toggle switch using the bow command "/1 nodrop".
In case you mount the switchable version of melee weapons, the same button switch from Melee and Thrown mode.

=====5 - ARC SETTING / RANGE STANCE (LR WEAPONS CONTROL)
When the 4° button is active, other little buttons appear in the right, depending on weapon type.
-- Bow & Crossbow:
Buttons 1,2,3 are memories that allow to select the preferred arc of the arrows.
For normal arrow the default values are: 20, 40, 50, and you can change this assignement with the button P.
For long arrow the fixed values are: 100, 90, 70.
For drop arrow the default values are: -25, -100, -250 with vel 35. You can assign different speed value with the button P.
Button P: you can assign at any memory (button 1, 2, 3) a specific arc value (for the Normal and Drop arrow) or speed value (for the Drop arrow only). It's not available for the long arrow.
To program the memories, press P: select the memory you want to modify, then choice the new values in the menu.
At this point this values is assigned at the button.
-- Melee weapons:
Depending on number of stance, you can select 2 or 3 buttons to change the stance directly from the hud.
F = fast, M = medium, S = slow.

SPECIAL FEATURES
When you mount the weapon, the icon appears automatically in the Hud.
When you unmount the weapon, the icon disappears.
When you mount the Hud, it recognize all LR Weapons mounted, and if they are drawn or not.
When you mount the shield, it stays with any other weapon, and it's not sheathed when you mount another weapon.

Our Hud can recognize 8 weapons mounted at the same time, and works only with LR Weapons.

This is a great add on for realism! Sadly, most SL Gor sims do not allow animals to participate in raids, and barely tolerate animal characters at all (most sims tend to banish animals to places where their chances of getting any RP is small to non-existant, so really they just allow them for traffic help). This would be a really awesome thing to get to use if animals were actually allowed to participate in combat! As it stands, if you play a Gorean animal, and you play it realistically, you'd get banned or killed REAL fast in just about any sim, which sadly, makes this very cool add on a fun flavor text add on that will never see actual use...
