Prim counts / Land impact.
By default the fish tank by itself is 8 Land Impact and each fish is 1 Land Impact.
So when using the default setup the tank and fish together will use 16 Land impact. But saying this the land impact is completely variable, going as low as just 6 or 7 LI if you decide to make the tank smaller and only have 3 or 4 fish. To as high as 30 to 40 LI if you decide to have a lot more fish and make the tank a little bigger, I say “a little” because although its possible to make the tank much bigger be prepared for the LI cost to increase. But in all I truly believe that my default settings with a combined weight of 16 LI is perfect for any one wanting to own a very well made, very functional, interactive fish tank.
Quick setup steps:
1. Rezz the fish tank.
2. Attach the Key Frame Fish Tank Setup Hud.
3. Click Rezz Selected.
4. Once the setup is complete you can detach the Setup HUD.
(Note, Once the fish have been rezzed, if you decide to resize or move/rotate the fish tank you will need to remove all the fish before doing so.)
If you would like to know more about the other fish tanks setup options please continue reading.
Setup options:
Basic setup: (Same as Quick setup steps)
Rezz and place the fish tank where you like, attach the Fish tank setup HUD and click rezz selected. This will automatically setup the fish tank with the default settings. It’s very easy and does not require any configuration.
Advanced setup:
If you want more options like setting the number of fish and there individual sizes, then you can use the options on the HUD to configure these.
Using the Key frame fish tank setup Hud:
Selection buttons:
To the left of each fish image there is a red selection button, you can click this to select or deselect the fish you would like rezzed. By default each button is red indicating that each fish is currently selected.
Size factor:
Underneath each fish image there is a size factor setting option. You can use the small arrows next to this to change the size of each species.
To the right of each fish image there is an individual fish count. You can change the amount of each fish that will be rezzed using the larger arrows. The maximum amount of fish you can have is 30.
R button:
Next over from the size factor arrows there is a button with an R. You can use this button to add a single fish to your tank without all the currently rezzed fish being removed. This also works great if you want different sizes of the same species. Remember that using this option will not automatically count the fish on the HUD you will need to keep track of how many fish you rezz when using this R option. Another why to view the R option is like a manual fish rezzing option that gives you %100 control over the fish sizes.
Fish movement speed: This allows you to change the fish movement speed however I recommend leaving it at 2 the default. This is to ensure the most realistic fish movements.
Rezz Selected Fish: This button will rezz all the fish you have selected and the number of each fish.
Moving the fish tank around: It’s important to make sure that you place the fish tank in a good place where you want to keep the tank for a long time. This is because once the fish tank is setup, moving it to another location will mean you need to delete the currently rezzed fish.
Realistic Mode:
With this option the fish will start off as baby’s and grow over time. It’s important to understand that when you select this option, you will not be able to set the size of the fish. But you do have a few other options.
Growth Speed Factor:
You can use this to control how fast your fish will reach there maximum growth size, for example using a value of 1 the fish will be fully grown within about 15 to 19 days, but using a value of 2 the fish will be fully grown in about 1 month and using a value of 42 the fish will grow in real time over about 2 years.

YESSSSSS
q_q don't mind me. im standing here with the sky set to ambeint dark....with advanced lighting on....this tank is so pretty!! So its to be noted that you cant really see the effects of the tanks lights very well without advanced lighting on, so if thats not something your comp can handle, you may only notice a slight change. ITs still visible however. but being in the dark gives it a nice ambiance
Wow
I've always been interested in fish tanks since first coming to SL over 8 years ago. Through the years the growth in how fish tanks are made and the detail and ease of setup has gotten better... This tank however is by far the BEST build, detailed, easy and quality product I've seen since coming to Secondlife. Did I mention low prim when it comes to such a detailed build? Kudos to the creator, this is an absolute winner!
