KOOL PLATFORM REZZER — HELP

WHAT THIS TOOL DOES

The Kool Platform Rezzer creates a perfectly adjusted platform over a parcel at the chosen altitude.
It automatically detects the parcel’s exact boundaries, including irregular or L‑shaped parcels, and rezzes standard prims to cover the surface in the most efficient way possible. All parcels owned by the same owner in the current sim are detected. If the sim is not divided in parcels, it will rez 16 prims of 64x64 m, perfectly aligned.
Ideal for skyboxes, builds, work areas, or any elevated project.

HOW TO USE IT

Place the rezzer on the parcel ground, or directly at the desired altitude.
Click it to get the menu.
⬤ GOTO
Click “Goto” and enter the altitude (in meters).
The rezzer will move itself to that height.
Click the link in chat to teleport to the rezzer if it's far away.
⬤ REZ
Click “Rez” to create a new platform at the current altitude.
⬤ DEREZ
If you made a mistake, click “Derez” to remove the last platform you rezzed.
Only the most recently created platform can be removed by this menu.
If you are satisfied with the platform, you can delete the rezzer. If later you need to delete the platform, you will have to do it manually, as it cannot be removed anymore by menu once the original rezzer has been deleted.

USING YOUR OWN PRIM FOR THE PLATFORM

You can replace the default prim with your own textured prim.
Create your custom prim in‑world. Size doesn't matter, as the prim is re-sized at rez. Texture it as you wish (Planar mode is recommended). You can also rename it.
Get the original "Platform" prim from the rezzer, extract the script “Platform object”, and drop this script into your custom prim.
Take your scripted prim into inventory, delete the original object inside the rezzer, and replace it with your custom prim.
The rezzer will now use your prim as the platform base.
Note: The script “Platform object” self-deletes inside each platform prim once rezzed, so your parcel remains free of extra scripts.
