Kool Team Leader is a hud to send a message to all your team via big ON-SCREEN MESSAGES. Messages cannot be missed while fighting in mouselook, which is not the case with usual Group or Local chat.
They are intended to be short messages (40 characters maxi) sent during combat. You either type your custom message in chat, or click or use shortkey for one of your 8 predefined messages. Messages auto-fade after a delay or a click, and are signaled by a sound.
This is a "One to All" message system, similar to group notices but transcending group limitations (team members can wear different SL group tags, no need of specific right to send a message). It works in any sim where you travel with your team (there is no central server locked to one sim like some other systems). In addition, team can reply to your messages with their free Receiver hud.

• Your Kool Team Leader hud (copy/no trans): The messages you send are visible to ALL your team (Leaders and Receivers), and you see messages sent by all other Leaders or Receivers, in same sim.
• A giver to let your team members take their FREE Receiver hud (copy/transfer). They can send and receive messages with Leaders ONLY (not with other Receivers).

Hud 1st button is to select or set your secret code, list of 8 teams. Share this code privately with your team.
Hud 2nd button is to list team members present in the sim,
Hud 3nd button is to send in one click a predefined message, else type your custom message by chat.
Hud 4nd button is to check recent messages.
Hud 5nd button is for setup: message screen position and time, sound level, chat channel.
IN YOUR TEAM, AT LEAST ONE AVATAR MUST GET AND WEAR THE LEADER HUD. Others team members use the free Receiver hud, or their own Leader hud (wear only one hud !). Communication is between the huds sharing the SAME SECRET CODE, and in the SAME SIM. You can change the code anytime, for a rescue with allies for instance, then switch back after to your home group.
