The purpose of the monitor is to watch for new Fennux™ Dens and notify you via IM and/or Email.
The monitor watches the area (within the "Range" setting below) for Fennux Dens being dropped by Fennux. When a new den is found , it notifies you via IM and/or Email. It keeps track of them, notifying you only once and only on new ones. As follows:

In addition, it will show the number of new dens as hover text.
