Works alright for just running around, tends to break if you do anything beyond that with it.
Like another review has stated, the AO tends to jerk in and out of quadruped position a lot.
That includes when using the *built in* flame breath and super flame breath. I had to get a different fire breath off the marketplace so I didn't look ridiculous when using fire breath.
This more of a personal opinion, but I don't like how the face looks much and how the face/neck are angled a bit downward. I think most of the rest of the body looks pretty good though.
When running, you'll do the horn charge complete with the sound for it, which I think is nice but could see possibly getting annoying to others.
I can't comment much on Sparx because I just... don't use him. :p
Overall, it's alright and I enjoy using it while playing Crystal Craze. Just be aware that AO lacks polish before you decide to buy it.
worthy of reignited
it looks amazing id love to see crash too both ps1 mascots would be cool
Not worth 600
Though the texture work is passing, the AO jerks in and out of the quadruped position CONSTANTLY when turning or in the walk/run while lacking any sort of real effort or inspiration. The Sparx follower did not work properly for me despite having rez and script rights, and the included Readme file is barely any help at all. I would not recommend this to others, this avatar still needs more work before being worth it's pricetag. It's not the worst I've seen, but I suppose I expected better.
Great!
I agree with everything everyone's said previously, though I do have one issue (that's actually negligible). The AO is really primitive, and the sculpty body parts could have been done slightly better. However, I /do/ understand that this is a fairly old avatar and this can't be helped unless you decide to update it.
Very good.
Has a nice hint of nostalgia to it too; there are sound effects from Spyro 2 when you click on the HUD buttons and the running animation has the charging sounds from the game. He will also assume the charging pose while running like he did in the games.
What bothers me though is the way the back legs bend inwards. The wings do not having a flapping animation during flight either.
Another problem is that this avatar seems to have been made before Second Life enabled all the fancy light settings, so if you have your graphics set high you will notice that the spotted area on Spyro's head and body does not perfectly match the colour on his legs and face.
Sparx is automatically equipped to your avatar when you wear the Spyro and will spam the chat with errors. You need to detach and rez him on the ground.
Besides that, this is a very nice avatar.
