Simcaster's flagship television product, the Easy YouTube TV uses Prim Based Media which makes the setup and use of the TV very easy. This LAND MEDIA CONNECTOR will turn your Easy YouTube TV into a Powerful Land Media based television. Starting with version 4.10 of the Easy YouTube TV, you will have the choice of running your TV in two different modes, Prim Media Mode or Land Media Mode.
Prim Media Mode - Easy YouTube TV

Your Easy YouTube TV runs on Prim Media by default. This is our traditional TV. It makes for easy operation with no need to deed the TV to the land. YouTube and other media service controls and options are available right on the TV screen. TV use is as easy as rezzing the TV -- which is why we named it the EASY YOUTUBE TV.
Land Media Mode - Land Media Connector

There are times where you will want more out of this TV than the Easy YouTube TV can offer. With the purchase of the optional LAND MEDIA CONNECTOR, you can supercharge this TV and transform it into a more robust LAND MEDIA TV. The TV is then played using your Parcel Media settings. Performance features include:
* The Land Media TV will allow you to watch a video seamlessly anywhere on your parcel.
* You can rez as many TVs as you want and let them all play the same picture at the same time without any distortion.
* A Land Media based TV makes for perfect synchronized viewing of videos when more than one person is present.
You can still use the Easy YouTube TV to change the video you are viewing, choose playlists, set loop and auto playing and many options. The TV video are simply passed from the TV to Land Media Connector to enhance your TV's capabilities.
Land Media Connector

Simply rez your Land Media Connector. If your land is group owned you will need to deed it to the land. That's all the setup required. Your TV will recognize that a Land Media Connector is rezzed on the parcel and connect to it automatically. You will be able to toggle effortlessly between using the TV in Prim Media mode and Land Media mode. The Land Media Connector is a utility device so it can be placed somewhere obscure on the parcel or buried in the ground. The Land Media Connector can be placed anywhere on the parcel without affecting its performance. If you want to control more than one parcel on a sim, each parcel will need its own connector.

just works, awesome customer service
I didn't set my connector up right at first, so it wound up getting "deleted" (or so I thought) when it was returned to me. Mike was patient and quickly helped me get my copy back, but was willing to offer another if it didn't turn up. I really appreciate the kind service and it's so cool to finally have the TVs in my shop playing in sync no matter where you go in the store!

Excellent product and superb service
I am a total noob with SL devices. Mike was amazing, he provided a first class service and spent over two hours with me helping to install. He was patient, kind and understanding. The actual product offers fantastic video streaming with no lag effects. Highly recommend this product and the creative designer.
Couldn’t Be Simpler!
It took just a few seconds to rez and deed to land. It seamlessly paired with the Easy TV which lets me toggle between Prim media and Land media. The Connector automatically manages the url in the Media tab of the Land window, so I didn’t have to set anything there. This product does what it’s supposed to do!
