Larsson Classic Economy Car For Mainland Roads Version 6.2

This vehicle has been designed with detail and care to travel on SL mainland roads. It is intended as enjoyable way for two or three people to explore mainland. There is relaxed animated passenger seat next to driver. Back seat features a working safety seat designed smaller avatars but anyone can use. All sit positions are adjustable with AVsitter menu.

Vehicle uses my own scripting written by me. I never use any "kit car scripts" in my work. No other SL vehicles offer my scripting work.

For versatility on road there are 10 forward speeds and one speed in reverse so you can choose to travel at a reasonable speed without going so quickly that you go off road easily or begin flying as you go over hills or rough terrain or through region borders.

Steering has been adjusted to avoid quirky over sensitivity. This allows for more normal highway driving feel, yet turning radius is sharp so you can get out of small spaces easily.

You hear engine start sound when you sit as driver and exhaust smoke effect also appears. Engine sounds for idle begin after start sound is completed. Forward and reverse sounds are heard as you move in those directions. Engine sounds and exhaust are ended when driver stands. You can stop and start engine anytime while seated by keying stop or start in /9 chat channel.

Use on-screen jump up/down motion arrows on viewer to change speeds. You can also use page up/down keys on your keyboard. You will see chat message telling you gear numbers as you change speeds.

Both doors open and close on touch with sound effects, so do front hood and rear engine cover.

Headlights work with SL advanced lighting system. Activate advanced lighting in your viewer graphics preferences tab. You will see road ahead illuminated for night time travel. You hear electronic confirmation sound when you touch yellow on/off headlight button on dashboard.

Also on dashboard are working speedometer and fuel gauge. Select view #3 (driver view) to monitor speed and fuel as you drive. You can also touch steering wheel as you drive for "beep beep" horn.

There is a detailed rear engine. Touch rear engine cover to see engine. Touch engine to access rescale menu on your viewer screen. I made vehicle to proper scale but you can easily adjust it if desired.

You also have choice of 6 of dynamic follower views as driver. Key in /9 chat the view you want.

Keying "v1" gives graceful follower view behind vehicle.

"v2" gives view follower view just behind driver showing driver and view through windshield.

"v3" gives the driver's view over steering wheel through windshield and you see moving speedometer and fuel gauge.

View #3 is my personal favorite view. It is fun to watch speedometer as I drive, and fuel gauge gives about an hour of driving time. Key "fill tank" in /9 anytime you are in a gas station or anytime you need gas anywhere. You will get chat warning as gas gauge gets close to empty.

"v4" gives view just over front hood close to windshield.

"v5" gives view from behind and slightly above vehicle.

"v6" gives view from behind and a little higher than v5.

There are 10 authentic 1950s car body colors: red, yellow, beige, blue, grey, green, cream, pink, almond, and smoke. Key color name in /9 chat to select color.

You control visibility of luggage rack by keying "rack on" in /9 channel to make both rack appear, and "rack off" to have it disappear.

I used a personal license plate for New Jersey. Let me know if you would like a personal plate for country or state. I would be happy to make one for you.

This is an all mesh car with land equivalent of 69 prims. I have adjusted the mesh items so that vehicle and wheel scripts work normally.
