The LightStar Addon may be installed in any dancing station however it works especially well with dancing poles either single or dual. In many cases putting overhead light above a dancing pole may not be feasible because the light beam prim envelopes the pole and prevents touching it.
For instance our UAD dancing stations do not require tip jars - they accept and process tips themselves - however if there is a light beam enveloping a pole, a tipper cannot rightclick the pole itself to get the PAY option.
The LightStar Addon comes to the rescue. It resides in the pole itself and when the pole is engaged rezzes a circle of light on the floor around the pole's base. The light circle will change colors as configured and also may periodically rez a shadow egg, enabling spectacular multi-colored shadows effects. The light circle is de-rezzed when a dancer steps down.
The LightStar Addon works with any pole of whatever maker. It would not interfere with pole scripts whatever they might be. The only requirement is that you must have modify permission for your pole object to be able to put the LightStar Addon in the pole's content.
