You're looking for a sophisticated bridge and you found it.
This draw bridge is fully animated: the various ropes, weights and bridge are slowly moving up and down, and the ropes are not made by particles.
The good point of this bridge is that it can be easily resized. You can drag and enlarge or reduce it.
The easy menu lets you configure the bridge as you want. You can set it to automatic closing, choose the waiting time, disable or enable sound and also change colors with presets or add your personalized texture. (the PSD is downloadable!)
Even though the bridge is thought for marinas, the permissions menu makes it also perfect for your castle! You can set it to group, everyone or owner only.
Also, you can duplicate it, to make a double drawbridge. You can rez up to 10 coupled bridges in the radius of 100 meters! the bridge has a "Code" function where you can set up a determined code between two or more bridges, to "couple" them

This is a must have for any sailing communities. I needed something that could bridge two pieces of land while also allowing boats to travel through and this was perfect. It resizes great while staying a reasonable LI and that's appreciated. I also like how you can choose whether or not to have it auto-close, modify textures, and all the other bells and whistles in the menu. Very well made. My only note to buyers is to remember to pull out two separate copies in order for it to remain walkable, as the physics don't work if you shift copy to duplicate.
