I am a content builder & artist in Second Life. I sometimes build useful things and sometimes I do not.

Lost Inventory Listening Device by Dekka Raymaker, October 2017. (Modification, Copy, No Transfer)

The following description isn't wholly factual.

This device is based on a Real World device fabricated to hear sounds before the advent of RADAR. I have adapted its usage to listen for 'lost prims', the fabric of 'Lost Inventory'. So if you ever have the misfortune to experience 'Lost Inventory' maybe this device will help you find it, but nothing is guaranteed. This is a kinetic art sculpture.

It comes in two parts, each part aligns at the same centre point, the top part rests on top of the bottom part. The device comes with an animation and sound effects which are activated on sit. It spins! Enjoy.

Why?

Other than that it is just for FUN, I recently lost four years of content creation, the work was all in one folder and it was just this folder that mysteriously disappeared, this phenomena is known as 'Lost Inventory'.

As you can modify it, you can add your own animation and sounds, if you so wish. The animation is situated in a small prim, top of the machine, centre, see image. Other scripts are in the flat transparent prim centre of the legs.
