Luminous Knight HUD Version 3.1

First of all, thank you for your interest in this product. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Overall, this HUD aims to combine some light-based magic spells with melee sword combat, and some movement enhancement features.

The following sections describe in more detail the HUD's features and other types of information you might need.

PASSIVE ACTIONS
▶ AIR STEP
While in mid-air, press the jump button. A magic seal will appear your feet and propel you upwards as a double jump.

▶ GROUND ROLL
While on the ground, double tap any directional key to ground to the selected location.

▶ DIRECTIONAL FALLING
(Have you ever been annoyed by the fact that you cannot control the direction your avatar falls in mid-air, unless it is forward or backwards?.... I did)
While in mid-air, use strafing (i.e. SHIFT + RIGHT or SHIFT +LEFT) to fall to the right or the left.

HUD ACTIONS

▶ DRAW (shield+sword)
Press the Draw button in the HUD to draw the shield and your sword

▶ COLOUR SELECTION
Press the button with a multi-coloured orb to open/close the menu.

Note: Selecting a new colour may not change the HUD layout,but will change the colour of your sword, shield, and magic attacks.

▶ HUD RESIZE

▶ PILLAR OF LIGHT
Several light pillars will appear in front of you, depending on how long the button was pressed.
In case an avatar is in range in front of you, the light pillars will be "attracted" to that person.

▶ SHIELD OF LIGHT
A magic light seal will appear in front of you granting you protection.
Aproximately,1 second after it, a light beam will be shoot out of it, causing damage to nearby targets.

▶ LIGHT SWORDS
Different types of button pressing will lead to different actions:
▷ CAST SWORD
Tap the button to cast and shoot a light sword.
▷ FIVE CAST
Press and hold the button for about 1 second.
Five light swords will appear above your head, following you until you shoot them,
▷ SHOT SWORD ▷▷ while using FIVE CAST
Shoots one of the five swords.
▷ SHOT ALL ▷▷ while using FIVE CAST
Press and release the button after holding it for about 0.5-1 seconds to shoot all swords.
▷ SHOOT AND RELOAD ▷▷ while using FIVE CAST
Press and release the button after holding it for over 1 second to shoot all swords and recast FIVE CAST

MELEE ACTIONS
▶ ATTACK
Once the sword is drawn, tap the button in the middle of the HUD or press your mouse button while in mouse look to swing your sword.
While tapping the button your avatar will animate "randomly".
If you begin attacking someone close to you, yet out of range of your sword, your avatar will make a small dash towards that target.

▶ STINGER
Double tap forward with your directional keys, and follow with a sword swing immediately before you perform a ground roll.
You'll dash towards the closest person or object in line with you.

▶ BLOCK
Block an incoming attack with your shield.
You may notice a small light when the shield blocks something.

▶ COUNTER ▷▷ while blocking
After a successful block, swing your sword to perform a counter strike.

OTHER ACTIONS

▶ RESIZE (SHIELD AND SWORD)
Similarly to the HUD, you can resize the sword and the shield.
Simply touch them and follow the instructions of the dialog menu.
