The Visitor Tracker is a tool, that records the names of each visitor, incl. date, time and the duration of the visit. The Tracker will give the data only to the owner (lsl function: llOwnerSay). No one else will be able to listen, what the Visitor Tracker will tell its owner.

INSTALLATION
1) Open the rezzed box of the product and copy/transfer its content into your inventory.
2) Drag the Visitor Tracker (ViTra) out of your inventory to the place, where you want it to work.
3) Click the Visitor Tracker and configure it (see below)
CONFIGURATION and OPERATION
By clicking the Visitor Tracker, a menu will appear. Only the owner will have access to this menu. With the menu (and its submenus) you are able to configure and view the Visitor Tracker state:
MAINMENU:
Chat channel: here you can change the chat channel (e.g. for entering data). Preset is channel 32
Options: a submenu for further configuration will be opened
Hide/Show: with this button you can toggle, if the tool should be invisible or visible. At the same time it switches between phantom state and back. If you can't call the menu while in invisible state, hold Ctrl + Alt + T to make it visible and click it.
Range: another submenu will open, where you can change the scan range of the tool, in which the avatars are detected (max. 96m).
Rate: in this submenu, you can change the scan rate in seconds, where the tool will scan for avatars
Start/Stop: turns the Visitor Tracker on or off. Clicking on Start will turn it on, clicking on Stop will turn it off. If turned off, no mails will be send.
List visitors: shows the visitor list with the avatar names, date and duration.
Send mail: sends a mail to the defined mail address with the current list of visitors. Then the list will be cleared in the tool.
SUBMENU "Options"
< : brings you back to the mainmenu
- 1h / + 1 h: with these two buttons you can adjust the collection of the time data to your local timezone. Default is the coordinated universal time (UTC). For information about the UTC please refer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coordinated_Universal_Time
List AVs: shows a list of avatars that will not get registered by the Visitor Tracker. Default is the owner (Exception list)
-AV / +AV: with these two buttons you remove or add avatars to the exception list
List:ALL / List:30: with this button you can switch, if all or the last 30 visitors will be displayed
Mail frequency: enter the amount of hours, after the Viistor Tracker will send you a list with all collected data. If you enter a 0, a mail will be send as soon as 200 entrys are reached.
Mail address: please enter here you mail address. If no mail address is entered, all collected data will be erased after 200 entrys!
Free memory: lists the current free amount of memory of the scripts
Reset: resets the tool. That means, all your configured data will be erased (if you just pick up the tool and put it later in place, no data will be lost)

A decade of reliable reporting
Easy to use, always reliable. Ten years of flawless operation (I haven't ever had to replace/reset a single tracker in usage).
Email reporting is worth its weight in gold. Sim downtime/restarts are the only reasons why reports are delayed.
This system is perfect if you want reports on visitors to your location. My only nitpick is that it is radius based detection rather than parcel based, but this is barely worth mentioning. Worst case you get a bit of neighbour related traffic in your reports (though in that case it's still handy if you are watching out for troublemakers loitering near your parcel).
My only regret is that I took ten years to get around to leaving a review.
Easy Setup
This is an extremely easy tool to help monitor your store / area foot traffic. I was done in mere seconds with the easy to read instructions and within a few clicks. It is exactly what I have been searching for. Thank you!
