I created the Old Timey Radio to change parcel music. I just wanted something that fit better in my decor than what I found in MP. Nothing original there. Unfortunately, some parcels won't allow an update to the parcel music URL, so I integrated a media player with this radio.
The RadioStations notecard is modifiable. You can set your own stations.
The point is - it can sit there looking like a old radio for aesthetics, but will present a media player where you can choose a radio station, then hide the media player. It won't play for the whole parcel, just for the user like any media player in SL, but if you want to chill and listen to a station or watch you tube without taking up wall space for an in world TV, this may be what you're looking for.
Updated to use categories for your radio stations on the parcel.
- Update parcel music URL (if allowed)
- Choose from pre-loaded radio stations
- Launch local media player
- Hide media player while sound continues
