Thank you for your interest in or purchase of an original La Galleria mesh home!
~COTSWOLD Cottage has a default footprint of 30 wide x 32 deep** and has ABOUT 162 prims at that size ** for the home (and everything linked to it). It has a living room, a kitchen/ dining room, a bedroom, and a room for bath or study.
~The walled garden area extras typically add about 100 prims, depending on what you decide to place.
~The house has lace curtains linked inside that are always open. There are wall controllers that operate privacy curtains seen only from outside, to open, close, or make sheer.
~Touch lights to turn off or on. Touch fireplace to turn fire on/off.
~The outdoor stone wall pieces are modular (they are too far apart to be linked) so you can place them where you like around the house, along with the garden items listed below.
~The house itself comes linked as one object, no rezzer needed.
~You have a choice between rezzing the 162 prim house by itself and choosing which accessories and garden items you want to use, OR rezzing the coalesced (grouped or soft-linked) garden accessories all together, which will be around 100 prims.* The grouped garden is called ENGLISH COTTAGE GARDEN (COALESCED).
*IMPORTANT: REZ THE GROUPED GARDEN ACCESSORIES FIRST. MAKE SURE BEFORE YOU REZ, you are already in Edit mode by going into Build -- then you will be able to position everything while they are all selected. Otherwise you will need to select everything so you can move it together.
** The house can be stretched larger or smaller to fit the scale of your avi. However, the prim count will increase or decrease depending on the size.
NO FURNISHINGS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE HOME other than those listed below:

MODIFYING YOUR HOUSE
~Please read: http://lagalleriasl.blogspot.com/p/second-life-homeowners-guide.html and KEEP YOUR HOUSE LOCKED IN THE OBJECT TAB WHEN NOT MODIFYING IT.
~You can adjust the transparency of the curtains in the doors by selecting the face and turning transparency up or down in the texture tab.
~A mesh home is built very differently than a regular prim home in several ways.
In this home, for example, the walls all have one texture face for inside and one for outside,so you can tint or texture the inside and outside separately. The house's base color is white, so it can be tinted any color -- just select an individual texture face and choose your color. Tinting your house different colors is fun.
I do not recommend retexturing because each part of the house has a special texture baked just for it. But it does not hurt to try as long as you are prepared to re-rez your house.
~While the whole house can easily be stretched larger, I do not recommend stretching individual walls because that may cause the textures to get messed up. You can, however, unlink and copy walls and the connector columns where exterior walls meet, and use them to build other things.
TROUBLESHOOTING NOTES:

Not as great as other La Galleria Homes
I have a couple other La Galleria homes. I bought this one because it was smaller than the others that I have and I wanted to save on prims... so mission accomplished there. The looks of this cottage are wonderful! The walls though are like paper thin in so many places. I hate that there are places where I can walk outside through the wall =/ I'd also say that things just are not textured as well as my other La Galleria homes. That being said, I've purchased several La Galleria homes because they're just better and I still actively use this one, so it can't really be that bad!!!
A little piece of heaven on earth
Wonderful detailed cottage for all those ppl out there who love the romantic countryside. The high detailes are wonderful designed and still low prims.
A detailed description makes it easy to set up everthing. Withing seconds you have a pretty little house with a wonderful garden. Perfect for SL Beginners and Advanced!
Tip: Take the matching furniture its worth it!
