Great product.BUT!
Does NOT tow ring across sims as stated, it might of when built, but not in 2021
No update in years!
Buy the Bandit version. This steers terribly, can't handle sim crossings, and the wake looks very old style technology, Great idea with 8 passengers and an innertube. too bad they dont work very well. The other reviews are from 2017. Zero updates so far or in the future. I own the Loonetta 31 which I like but could use an update. Seems Bandit is whats left. Anyway this boat sucks. Update people!
Lots of Potential But Needs Some Work
I agree with almost all of Azriel Xue's review. This little RIB has lots of potential, but the spray/wake particles are MUCH too bright and distracting. The handling could also use some tweaking, although I think it has more to do with the simulated inertia in the physics scripts.
BUT, if these points are addressed by the builder, this could be the best of its class in SL. It's fun even with these issues, and crosses sims smoothly, surpassing most of the other similar vehicles in SL in this regard.
Little Disappointed
Motor Loon finally release's something new, the Zodiac 25. After owning SL's ultimate sailboat 'The Loonetta' for over 4 years and not being able to purchase any other sailboat because they lack the quality of Motor Loon's creation i literally started rubbing my hands together in anticipation and purchased it instantly, but within minutes i felt a little disappointed so i've decided to list some pro's and con's
Pro's
* 5li how awesome is that
* Trailer works a treat
* Motor can be lifted via the menu
* Great set of inbuilt textures + the ability to create your own
* Good Av animations
* Perfect outboard sound
Con's
* Boat steering is way to sensitive especially at slow speeds, maneuvering in small tight areas is just a pain in the ass. In the description it states "Analog control for more realistic handling" which if you're using a controller may just work, but with keyboard, well just isn't possible.

EDIT: ( OK so i just noticed that the driver needs to sit on the motor to access the boat controls instantly without need to move position. )
* The wake particles are to much in the boat when at speed and really ruins the visual experience.
In summary
The Zodiac 25 is an OK little boat with the potential the be an awesome little runabout if some small things are looked at and tweaked.
If anything changes in future updates i will certainly update my review accordingly.
