Simplicity or depth, you get to choose.
This product is very handy even with the default functions, it is great for a quick light for fast shots for products or selfies. It also has a lot of customization and depth if you really want to dig into the notecards.
This is a well balanced gadget for beginners and photography gurus alike. I still think for the really good shots rezzing and fine tuning projectors is needed, but this will get you started with the first layer of lighting a scene. The fact that you can rez multiple and send them around quickly and easily to other targets in the shot is a huge plus.
It is also really low lag script wise, with the big server updates only occurring when you need to tweak the settings, in idle mode there is virtually no network usage at all, so even if you have a swarm of these out it is no problem. I really liked that it is smart enough to find you as well, if you ever accidentally put it somewhere it's easy to call back to your side. Way more fun than juggling invisible prim spheres and dealing with the clunky letting menu.
This is absolutely a must have !!!
I've been using this for a week and I can say I'm in love! The presets option is absolutely useful and easy. I hate always having to adjust old projectors to get lighting, so this has helped me a lot in my blog posts.
