Footstep sounds! Once you’ve gotten used to having
this tool on, you wont be able to go without it!
This pack is made for heavily kitted/geared avatars (example: combat gear).
Combat/gear-laden avatars and normal style avatar
sounds sold separately!
- 8 different walking sounds
- 8 different running sounds (heavier step sound)
- Sounds triggered randomly. No patterns to recognize!
- Can be custom timed to match your animations
- Easy to use, set it and forget it!
Agreed with below
Sounds are lovely, but very quiet, and harder to hear compared to other options. The ability to boost them or simply have a louder version would be nice, but is otherwise underwhelming.
Good sounds, easy to modify timings, everything else is eh.
I love the sound effects, very crisp and satisfying, and modifying the timings is pretty easy via the chat commands provided in the notecard. I also like how it's an avatar attachment rather than a HUD attachment, meaning you can physically move the 'speaker' to make it sound as if it's coming from other parts of your avatar.
Unfortunately, I'm only giving this three stars because it lacks any way to configure the volume of the sound effects, and it's labeled as having Modify permissions despite the script inside (the only part of this you'd want to modify, to my knowledge) being no-mod. And the sounds used aren't included in the contents, so you couldn't (for example) make a personal-use aux channel sound pack for Dynastep using them. A shame, because these really /are/ good sounds!
Easy to use and sounds good :D
I think the only thing with this is it doesn't have actual footstep noises with it, but I combined this with the "normal" walking sounds and it's made my combat-ready looks so much more immersive :D So glad I bought both.
Sounds great! ^-^
love the cwispy sounds of the foot steps and so easy to line up with any ao.
Love it!
This is really good walking sounds for anyone that wants to sound like a soldier carrying a bunch of gear or even like an engineer/combat technician or something with a bunch of tools and stuff on them. If you want to give away your position in style and let the enemy know you're carrying a bunch of stuff, possibly hand grenades and tons of ammo, this is the footsteps for you. Also, I'm just joking. I don't want to give off the impression the rattly sounds of gear are excessive, they're not. It is just the right amount of sounds and they can be clearly heard, not too loud, not to low. 5 stars.
