Thanks for your interest in my Mangrove Brush!
These mangrove bushes will make a large area of your land more interesting. Rez just one prim and mangrove brushes will start to grow over a large area. They will appear just at the ground surface on rough or sloping terrain. The mangrove bush textures come from real-life photographs. They will only grow on land, in shallow water and only on the parcel you started them on. Many mangrove bushes appear randomly in an area around where you first rezed the main prim. Each magrove bush starts small, grows to a height of about 2 meters, then disappears. There can be as many as 90 bushes growing at the same time.
How does it work? The mangrove bushes are actually “particles”, a point that displays a texture map. Particles are also used to make smoke, fire, clouds and other effects. Particles are drawn by your viewer so they do not lag the sever at all. Advanced particle placement allows Ocean Engineering mangrove bushes to grow over a large area on rough or sloping ground.

Planting Mangrove Bushes:
Pick a spot on the ground on your property. Simply drag a copy of the “Mangrove Bushes” object out of inventory into the center of the spot. Bushes will start growing in a 10 meter diameter disk-shaped area around where you dropped the object. You can change the size and shape of this area with chat commands described below.
Only grows on “Linden Ground” or in shallow water 0.5 meters or less. If you try to plant these bushes on property that is not yours, you must have “create objects” and “run scripts” permission. If you try to plant these bushes in water too deep, they will die and the main prim will disappear. If you plant them too close to the edge of your property, they will only grow on your side.
If you walk away from your mangrove garden and come back later, you will find that all the bushes are gone! But as soon as you approach, they will all start growing up again.
