The Mars Lift system is as realistic a lift operation as I can make it.
Unlike many other lifts that teleport users when they sit on them or require people to sit one at a time, this system includes:
- multiple occupants (no crude sit TP)
- smooth operation with configurable top speed and acceleration
- range up to over 4000 m
- up to 99 floors permitting multiple lift shafts per region
- intelligent lift logic
- up/down call buttons on each floor
- up/down direction indicator and lift's current floor number displayed on each floor
- floors automatically configure themselves you just need to set the floor number
- internal lift operating buttons (stop/alarm, start, open, close & help)

To operate the lift

Operate the Mars Lift as you would operate a lift in real life.
But in case you have never been in a lift (*sic*):
1. Click the appropriate up/down button on your floor (why do people push both I wonder)
2. Wait for the lift
3. Walk in
4. On the control panel click the floor(s) you wish to go to
5. When lift arrives at your intended floor the doors open
6. Walk out
No sitting ! No TP !

A couple of years ago, I discovered an elevator that just worked like a champ. I used it in many builds and looked for places to utilize it.
I finally found a build that it would not "practically" work in due to LI.
I stumbled on this one and decided to try it. It was as easy as can be to set up. I had a few small issues, due to my own fault and dollie got them sorted promptly.
The build I have it in is an 18 story tower\show case. I knew that I was going to hard pressed to find an elevator that would work with that many floors. dollie came and helped with a few things, she made an upgrader and I was able to help her with some trouble shooting with it. It has been working perfectly for over a week now and not had any issue in the least.
Others I have used needed to have the scripts reset every fey days. Not the case with dollie's work of art.
It's versatile, customizable and reliable.
