These are unique detailed mesh designs which you may re-texture as required. Note resizing will affect the smoke.
These instructions apply to the single torches or the chandelier.
Simple use: Just rez & position it.
Firstly the torches are initially unscripted (flames, smoke & light on continuously) or just rez the unscripted versions for simplest deployment. Shift & drag to copy a torch will stop texture animation so best to rez multiple copies directly from inventory unless you apply the script which fixes that. They may be linked to reduce land impact (2 torches will become just 1 prim land impact when linked).
To use the scripts a couple of snippets of info:
1. You must be the owner or in the same group as the torch to operate it. Click to switch on (light it?) & click again for off.
2. The prim name must start "torch". This is so it may be linked with other prims to reduce land impact.
3. The chandelier must also have "chand" in its name (as well as 2) as this will drive how bright it is and where the smoke appears
4. Adding "no smoke" the name suppresses smoke particle generation
5. You may retexture (4 faces for torch and 5 for chandelier) but note face 0 is animated and should be 4 x 4 frames such as
- Wall Torch, Hand Torch or Chandelier each 1 prim mesh design
- Script supplied for group on/off control
- Smoke optional
- Linkable (2 lamps = 1 prim LI)
- Personalisation by retexturing
Great looking and useful set
The chandelier and the both torches are very nice looking and the instructions explain very simple how to use the script that comes with them plus they are resizable via thze build menu. Huge thumbs up for making them even work in certain states without the script in it, always nice to reduce scripts :)
