Thank you for your interest in the Merlin Machines Cavorite Airship. This airship is designed along Steampunk lines, and justified by H. G. Wells and Jules Verne technology.
The main portion of the airship, resembling the gas chamber of a dirigible, is actually made of cavorite. Discovered by Dr. Selwyn Cavor, cavorite has the spectacular property to screen the gravitational field produced by the Earth. The cavorite ovoid of the airship is hollow and lined with a grid-work net of activators, feed by two generators (similar to those powering the submarine Nautilus) on the sides and controled from the 2-seater, motor-bike like gondola below. The activators control how much gravity is nullified and the 2 large fans at the rear control the forward & reverse motion as well as the heading.
