Very Disappointed
This doesn't look like the picture. The cluster is very odd. Very cartoonish. I love Little Branch and own a TON of things from this store, but this one unfortunately was a no.
NOPE
I love all things Little Branch, which is why I thought this would be good, but after rezzing it out i'm finding it an awkward shape and very flat looking, just doesn't look good at all. For the price, this is just not good at all. Maybe there is a newer version? But this is not up to par.
Looks great but can't walk among them
Like others said, your prim count will soar. It's 5 LI a piece, and you need a lot to create a realistic effect. That said, if you can afford the land impact, go for it. Looks really unique, very detailed.
My issue is not so much the LI, but the fact that these are solid objects in the shape of a three-sided star, so you cannot walk through them. There is no way you can walk "in" your cornfield; in fact, if you wander in, you get stuck and the only way out is flying or teleporting. I find that aspect really annoying. Despite the negatives, I'm still giving it four stars; for the looks, the idea itself, and the potential.
If the creator is interested in further developing this product, I would recommend making it animated and "walk through". Perhaps even with sound effects. Just imagine a swaying corn field you can wade through, listening to the sound of the rustling leaves.
They're okay.
I get the complaints, the corn is laid out weird and there isnt enough to form what you see in the picture without using a lot of prim. like...A LOT. but for smaller areas it works okay just wish it was enough to make a corn field.
Could NOT be any BETTER!
These are the most realistic I've seen, I was a bit weary of the purchase due to the comments here, BUT, Do not let the comments hold you back from purchasing these. They are awesome and the detail is unreal awesome! The shape is odd, but it works.. just takes a minute to figure out what to do.. they are 5l BUT its worth it in my opinion. I LOVE them! I'd give 10 stars if I could!
Lovely looking but O_O the LI
It will have it's uses and is not much money, but this is a real high LI item when push comes to shove.
5 LI for a 3 sided star and *a lot* are needed to make a nice field. This is a great plant for a full prim sim where there will be a small cornfield or maybe a sparse thin row of corn 10M x2 M if you have 100LI spare
It would have been nice as a cluster of 2 or 3 and then place that amongst a separate low prim filler from any maker.
